I need your help

I am doing some preparation for a future production of Julius Caesar and need a hand. If you have a little time and some brain-power to spare would you please:

  1. Download this copy of the play
  2. Read it through, jotting down any phrases or sayings that you don’t understand, either at all or in context
  3. Drop me a line with a list of them and the numbers of the pages they are on

If you can’t do it right now, any time over the next couple of weeks would be brilliant.

Thank you.

I don't understand why, if the play is called "Julius Caesar", he's barely in it and he dies half way through.

It's not quite as shocking as Doug McClure getting killed in The People That Time Forgot or Newt being called before Alien3 even started, but it's still a bit weird.

Why not called the play "Anthony and Brutus?"

Also, why are they all speaking flowery English when they should be speaking Greek as any fool know?

Not a good start.

Page one. Flavius. "Being mechanical" What?

I'm sure there's more.
